In 2017, Beyoncé was scheduled to headline Coachella alongside Kendrick Lamar and Radiohead. However, she would cancel her appearance when she revealed she was pregnant with twins Sir and Rumi. She would ultimately be replaced by Lady Gaga, and confirmed that she would headline the 2018 installment as a make-up date.
That date is tonight (April 14th), as Bey makes her anticipated debut performance at the festival. And with rumors of 11-hour rehearsal days, as well as rumors that she will reunite with Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams as Destiny’s Child it could be one of her most talked-about performances ever. While she is undoubtedly the main draw of Coachella’s second day, fans and #COUCHella citizens should not ignore sets from the likes of BROCKHAMPTON, Wizkid, Flatbush ZOMBiES, Chloe x Halle, Chic with Nile Rodgers, and more.
