Teyana Taylor flips out after daughter says P-word on Instagram Live
Teyana Taylor doesn’t want her daughter, Tayla “Junie” Shumpert Jr., using bad language.
On Wednesday during an Instagram Live video, the R&B songstress was discussing video ideas for her wildly popular song “WTP,” which stands for “Work That P—y,” off her new album “K.T.S.E.”
She mulled if she should put on a ball and mentioned the P-word a few times — all while her 2-and-a-half-year-old daughter happened to be listening. The little girl then asked Taylor, “What is p—y ball?”
Quick to correct, Taylor told her daughter to say “cat” instead, and wisely realized she should alter the lyrics to fit younger audiences.
“We need a clean version of WTP ASAP,” Taylor quipped in the video caption. “I zoned out and forgot @BabyJunie4 was even sitting there, let alone all up in my convo!! These kids are sponges. Lort forgive me. I made her say cat so she could stop saying the P word.”
Although a clean version might be good for kids, “WTP” has already become incredibly popular. Kim Kardashian captioned one of her more recent bra and underwear selfies kneeling on the floor, “WTP.”
Warning: Graphic language
