Hollywood could have its first plus-size female superhero.
Sony, the home of “Spider-Man,” has plans to adapt Valiant Comics’ “Faith,” reports Deadline.
The comic follows Faith Herbert — a “jubilant, comics- and science-fiction-loving geek who also happens to have telekinetic superpowers.”
The studio has been on a superhero tear lately, with the Tom Hardy movie “Venom” set to come out this year and “Spider-Man: Far From Home” going into production.
Sony also just signed Jared Leto as “Spider-Man” spinoff character Morbius, and it’s developing “Silk” about a Korean-American superheroine who’s a classmate of Peter Parker’s.
