Veteran actress/comedienne Roseanne Barr is catching heat for her latest controversial statements taking aim at all the women who came forward with sexual misconduct accusations against Harvey Weinstein and others.
The former Roseanne star, who was fired from her own TV sitcom last year, was the first guest on the world premiere of The Candace Owens Show, a new weekly televised podcast produced by PragerU.com.
Roseanne unleashed her fury on the alleged victims of Hollywood predators, saying they knew what they were getting themselves into.
Many of the females who spoke out about inappropriate sexual encounters with disgraced Hollywood mogul Harvey Weinstein claimed they were invited to his hotel suites to discuss potential movie projects.
“They’re pretending that they didn’t go to trade sexual favors for money,” Roseanne told Owens.
Roseanne, 66, didn’t name names, but one of the women invited to Weinstein’s hotel suite was Oscar winner Lupita Nyong’o, who recalled years later that she is a #MeToo victim.
“If you don’t run out of the room and go, ‘Excuse me, you don’t do that to me,’ and leave, but you stayed around because you’re like, ‘Well, I thought maybe he was going to give me a writing job.’ Well, you aren’t nothing but a hoe,” Roseanne said. “I know a hoe when I see one.”
Roseanne also had a few harsh words for presidential contender Kamala Harris (D-CA).
“Look at Kamala Harris, who I call Kama Sutra Harris. We all know what she did; she slept her way to the bottom,” Barr said, referring to the Senator’s past affair with California politician Willie Brown who was her ticket into politics.
Barr’s candid remarks emerge less than a year after her unfiltered comments led to the cancellation of her rebooted ’80s series Roseanne following a racist tweet she posted comparing Valerie Jarrett to an ape in the movie Planet of the Apes.
Jarrett was one of former President Barack Obama’s trusted White House aides.
