Conor McGregor Arrested For Felony Robbery After Allegedly Smashing Fan’s Phone — See Mug Shot
Conor McGregor, 30, was arrested on Mar. 11 for allegedly smashing a fan’s phone right outside the Fontainebleau hotel in Miami Beach, according to a police report obtained by TMZ. According to the report, the phone’s owner was walking out of the hotel at the same time as Conor at 5 am on Mar. 11 (they were presumably at LIV nightclub), when he tried to get a picture of the mixed martial arts fighter. It was then that Conor allegedly slapped the phone out of the owner’s hands. He then proceeded to allegedly stomp on the phone, and walk away with it.
Since this alleged altercation, McGregor was charged with felony strong-armed robbery and misdemeanor criminal mischief, according to Miami Beach police who confirmed these charges to the Miami Herald. He was later booked on Monday night at a Miami-Dade jail. McGregor previously pleaded guilty to one count of disorderly conduct count on Jul. 26, 2018 after he was caught throwing a metal dolly into the window of a bus parked at the Barclays Center’s loading dock in Apr., 2018, which contained MMA fighters Ray Borg, Jason Ledbetter and Michael Chiesa, all of whom were given protection orders.
“They stormed the building, got down to the loading docks where the fighters were getting on buses and started to attack the buses with trash cans, dollies,” UFC President Dana White said after the bus attack. “This is the most disgusting thing that has ever happened in the history of this company.”
Thankfully for Conor, he just finished his parole for the metal dolly case days prior to his most recent arrest. As part of his previous parole, McGregor had to complete five days of community service and an anger management class, according to TMZ. Conor and his girlfriend Dee Devlin, 31, have been in Florida the last few days with their son Conor Jr., 1. OkHit has reached out to McGregor’s legal representation for comment.
