Cohen Threatened Trump’s High School, College to Never Release His Grades

Cohen Threatened Trump’s

Michael Cohen testified that his former boss, President Trump, directed him to threaten his high school and college to prevent them from releasing his grades, SAT scores or school transcripts.

During Cohen’s testimony he said Trump directed him to threaten his schools and colleges saying they should never released his grades and SAT scores to the news media.

During the hearing, Republican lawmakers attacked Cohen, calling the former lawyer a “convicted liar” after he referred to Trump as a “conman”, “racist”, and “cheat.”

“When I say conman, I’m talking about a man who declares himself brilliant but directed me to threaten his high school, his colleges, and the College Board to never release his grades or SAT scores,” Cohen said in his testimony to the House Oversight Committee.

Cohen provided the committee with a copy of a single letter, on Trump’s letterhead, that he addressed to the president of Fordham University in New York in May 2013.

The letter threatened the university with legal action if they released Trump’s school transcripts to the news media without his consent, according to Buzzfeednews.com.

The letter also ordered the school to “permanently seal” Trump’s records and to inform Cohen when it was done.

Cohen confirmed to the committee that he was recently disbarred and is no longer a lawyer.

In 2018, Cohen was convicted of lying to Congress, campaign finance violations, and 5 counts of income tax evasion.

He must report to a federal prison to begin serving his three-year sentence on March 6.
